Walk the Ness Neolithic Trail
Although visitors can’t come to Orkney at present due to the Covid pandemic travel restrictions, we’re all looking forward to a time when things get back to some semblance of normality.
So if you’re planning a visit in the future, or an Orcadian looking to get out for some fresh air, we’ve put together details of a World Heritage Area trail – where you can walk the Ness of Brodgar and take in the wealth of prehistory en route.
The trail focuses on the area around the Ness, but we have plans to extend this to cover the rest of Orkney and introduce the reader to the islands’ lesser-known Neolithic treasures.
