Visit the dig site…virtually
Although the Ness excavation site will remain closed this summer, there’s still a number of ways to view the site.
In addition to our videos and 3D models, in June 2015, the Google cameras were on site and the result can be viewed on Google Street View.
Things have changed somewhat in the past five years, but the interactive, panoramic views allows Google Maps and Google Earth users to take a virtual tour of the Trench P as it was at the time.
