Trench J in all its 3D glory…

Trench J, and with it Structures Five and Thirty-Two and the “Great Wall of Brodgar”, may have been covered over today, but you can revisit it in detail with this new 3D model from supervisor Paul Durdin.

The spectacular model shows Trench J at its finest –  cleaned at the end of the 2019 excavation season – and features annotations that will serve as a virtual tour of the trench and its contents.

This can then be compared with the model of the trench at the end of season last year. A lot has changed since then!
