New print run sees Ness book back in stock

Unpacking books at Ness HQ this morning.

We’re delighted to announce that the second print-run of The Ness of Brodgar: As it Stands was delivered this morning and we’re starting to send out copies to everyone who has pre-ordered.

The book, which was launched on November 18, 2020, has been in such demand that the first print-run of 1,000 copies sold out in January.

Excavation at the Ness of Brodgar Neolithic complex began in 2005 and the book pulls together all the information gathered to date to produce a detailed account of what we now know about this incredible site. Click here to view the contents.

The book is the third volume in the University of the Highlands and Islands Archaeology Institute’s research series. Edited by Nick Card, Mark Edmonds and Anne Mitchell and published by The Orcadian.

Purchasing from our online shop sees proceeds from each sale go to the excavation funds.
