Exhibition of Ness artwork opens in Stromness

An exhibition of work created by Ness artist-in-residence Jeanne Rose opens in Stromness tomorrow, Saturday, July 29.

Entitled Over the Edge: Paint and Brush Between Trowel and Stone at the Ness of Brodgar, the exhibition features artwork created by Jeanne, while sitting at the trench edges, over the past five years.

This will be the first and last time to see the works in person, and will also feature a number of evening talks with Ness of Brodgar staff and diggers.

Over the Edge runs at the Northlight Gallery, Stromness, until August 9, 2023.

Proceeds from the sale of artwork will be donated to the Ness of Brodgar Trust and the Peedie Retreat.
