We’re offering five very limited-sizedĀ free tours of our exhibition at the Orkney Museum in July and August:
- July 4 – 1300 to 1400 – Sarah Jane Haston – carbonised plant remains
- July 11 – 1300 to 1400 – Jackson Clark – animal bone
- July 12 – 1300 to 1400 – Kath Page – red deer
- July 16 – 1300 to 1400 – Karen Wallis – artist in residence
- August 13 – 1300 to 1400 – Gary Lloyd – worked stone tools
Because of the size of the museum, we can only take a maximum of 20 people per free tour so it’s a case of first come first served. Places can be booked, for free, at Eventbrite (click on the relevant link above) but could we please ask that you do not reserve a spot unless you know for certain you can attend.
Eventbrite will email those who book, but we don’t need you to print tickets via their app. We will have the names of attendees and will pass these to the museum.
Although the tours are free, we’d be very grateful if you’d make a donation to the Ness of Brodgar Trust for this hour-long extra delve into the Ness. The specialists will talk about their work, the Ness generally and what’s on show in the exhibition.Ā
Meet, for 1300 sharp, in the courtyard of the Orkney Museum, Kirkwall.
