There’s just two weeks left to catch our exhibition at the Orkney Museum before it ends on Saturday, September 28.

Ness of Brodgar: Past, Present and Future covers four areas of the museum and not only looks back at two decades of excavation but ahead to the project’s next phase – the post-excavation analysis and interpretation of all the material and, ultimately, publication.

The exhibition covers all aspects of the Ness assemblage – from midden and animal bone fragments to some of the most spectacular carved stones and artefacts.

Click here to read Dr Colleen Batey’s review for Current Archaeology magazine.

The exhibition is accompanied by our latest book, Ness of Brodgar: Past, Present & Future.

The Orkney Museum is open Monday-Saturday, 10.30am – 5pm. Admission is free (although donations welcome).
