A sure sign that the return to site is not far away is dig director Nick Card’s annual talk in Kirkwall.

The Orkney Archaeology Society lecture – Structure Twelve: The Hammer(stone) House of Horrors – took place in the Orkney Theatre this evening. But if you missed it, don’t worry. The talk was recorded professionally by local photographer and film-maker Fionn McArthur.
